We had a small group party last night. Have I mentioned that I like my small group? Well, I do. It is made up of a colorful mix of very interesting and enjoyable people. A nice mix...and never boring, or quiet. At all.

I shall give you but a tiny tidbit of the interestingness that I am talking about. We have a squash lover. And no, she does not love to eat them; she keeps one as a pet and desires no harm to come to the veggies of the world. I have another friend who has this kind of strange but seemingly quite real fear of wet spiders. Even with lots of attempts to understand this phobia, I still can't seem to think of wet spiders as more fearsome than dry ones. (And yes, I know you are reading this! :)

There is something so delightful and rejuvenating about a group of people that can come from their separate lives and relax and enjoy just being around one another. We talked and ate and lounged and talked and ate and played movie trivia (complete with actual movie clips...very cool!) all evening and had a great time.
