Sleep is lovely. Don't you think so?
I have been decidedly at a lack of restful nights lately as a sinus infection involving my jaw combined with dental work not-quite-happy has caused some unfun days and even less fun nights. The little nerve shocks that continuously jolted my face were beginning to take on a Morse code like quality. Zap zap zot! Zot zap zot...zing zing zappety zappety ZAP! They were talking, but not nicely.
The doc decided yesterday that multiple things had eroded to a point where prednisone was needed. So I started taking it knowing that it can wire you and keep you awake. Oh well, can't hurt what's not there anyway. I prepared for bed last night as usual by drugging myself with lots of stuff and bracing myself for yet another rough night....then I woke up...at 6 a.m. Decadence! Smiles! Clear thought processes! (Parker's math has seemed VERY difficult to me lately and I have had trouble remembering my phone number.)
I know my body still has a way to go to get well, but with sleep, everything seems easier. I am very thankful.
Teaser: Soon I will finish an entry started almost two weeks ago that will show low brain cell activity even with sleep. :)
