The scene:

Parker is sitting at his desk (relatively calmly I might add) and yells excitedly "Mom! I can use 4-Letter-Words!"

I gulp (I was having a snack, no shocker there) and attempt to regain composure (translate: not spew the water I was drinking) and go to the study to find out what that statement actually means.

Keep in mind that I had only left him at his desk a few moments before doing the exercises that accompanied his dictation for the day. He was crouched over the word "pats" and had written down taps and spat. This was a Make As Many Words As You Can Out Of One Word exercise and he was jubilant about having used all four letters in the new words. I'm good with that.
