We are somewhat in the process of posting a Christmas letter. (Translate: we have briefly talked about it and decided that it would be a good idea and have done nothing past that...) Until it becomes a reality, I will leave you with a few snippets of life:

My calendar notes December 26th as "I Love Angie Day." I have weird but really awesome friends.

I am currently playing battery roulette. My car battery is dying a slow and painful death. David has not had a chance to replace it and I have no desire to spend 93 mind-numbing hours at AutoZone to remedy the situation. (Plus, I have no inkling or intention whatsoever of installing the new battery itself so the AutoZone trip would be painful and for naught.)

So...every time the kids and I go somewhere, the car might start to get us home...and it might not. Makes for very suspense filled trips to otherwise mundane locations. Ballet is this afternoon down in Dallas. Will we make it back? Or won't we? Is the suspense killing you yet?

I shall give a shameless endorsement of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra's Christmas concert, HOPE. We took the kids last night. (Their first full length symphony performance. (read: not a program designed specifically for kids)) It was fabulous! Kids and adults were both enthralled. They even had a sing-along at the end. If you were thinking about going. Do. We just decided to go on Sunday night and still got great seats. End of shameless endorsement.

so... did you make it home?

So, have you purchased your "I Love Angie Day" t-shirt yet? Get 'em while they're hot!

We did make it home from ballet. Cheers rose from the back seat as the ignition caught and we vroomed away.

An interesting twist, however, is that David & Parker took my battery to get it checked out last night and it was FINE. Ack! That means my car isn't starting predictably for SOME OTHER REASON THAT IS UNKNOWN AND NOT FIXED!!!

And I plan to drive today. Reckless, that's what I am. ;)
