I think I have heard this somewhere before...

Simply evidence that my daughter shares a significant amount of genetic material with a specific "Auntie".

Last night while we were preparing to watch Planet Earth (on the Discovery Channel...great photography by the way), David handed his wallet to Caroline and asked her to put it on the counter. Her eyes widened and began to sparkle. Her mouth and eyes curved into a mischievous grin and she said "Oooooo! OOO! Daddy's wallet! I'm going SHOPPING! Mmmm! Mmmm! MMM!" as she cackled with glee and pranced about still clutching the wallet to her chest.

David and I's jaws dropped and we stared at her dumbly.

Where did she learn THAT?

I am so proud! next time we get together, I will teach her my famous "money-bird" whereby all of the cash in dad's wallet would fly away to be with me.
